2 cups farro, cooked
1 pkg Amy Lu’s Apple & Gouda Cheese Chicken Sausage, sliced
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 apples, diced
1 Tbsp olive oil
Garlic salt
Cayenne pepper
Salt & black pepper
Directions:
1. Brown sausage slices. When done, remove from skillet and set aside.
2. In the same pan, add olive oil and sauté onions, garlic, and apples for about 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
3. Add the farro and sausage to the skillet.
4. Cook for 5 more minutes until heated through. Sprinkle with garlic salt and cayenne to taste.
